この村には井戸がある。手押しポンプタイプの井戸だ。きれいな水が出ることは公衆衛生の観点からも絶対に必要なことである。村を訪れた時、初対面にもかかわらず、村中の人たちが集まって来てくれた。私達が何者かも名乗っていないのに、最初から親しげに信頼を寄せてくれる。これがマラウィ人の素晴らしいところだ。人を疑わない。笑顔が溢れている。マラウイの人達が１分でも早くいい生活環境になってほしい。一歩でも半歩でもいいので、彼らが快適な暮らしができるようにお手伝いしたい。私達は微力だが、行動したい。まずはアクションを。少なくとも自分は、自分が今回の人生を後悔しないように行動したい。もし、共感していただけるならば嬉しい限りです。行動の方法など詳しいことはまた後日掲載する予定です。There is a well in this village.
